Zero Liquid Discharge Plant
ZLD Plant
Our system is designed with a three-stage evaporation process to ensure maximum energy efficiency and effective water recovery. It smartly utilizes:
- Waste steam from the process
- Binary steam generated during effluent evaporation
- A minimal amount of fresh (regular) steam
By integrating these energy sources, the requirement of fresh steam is reduced to just 20% of the total effluent water input, making the system highly efficient and cost-effective.
At the final stage of evaporation, the remaining material is converted into solid waste, which can be safely disposed of through landfill in compliance with environmental standards.
The water recovered during evaporation is condensed and reused within the plant. This recycled water can be effectively used for:
- Process applications
- Cooling tower make-up
- Boiler feed water (with appropriate treatment)
This approach not only minimizes water consumption but also supports sustainable and environmentally responsible operations.
These plants are fully automated and closely monitor process parameters through appropriate field instruments to deliver consistent performance.
